Brian Goldsmith

Brian Goldsmith is co-host of the Katie Couric podcast and an investor and journalist. Until last year, he helped lead political coverage at Yahoo News. Goldsmith was formerly co-head of the US division of British equity crowdfunding company Seedrs and co-founded and was president of Junction Investments, an online investment platform focused on entertainment assets. Previously, he held a variety of roles at CBS News, including political producer to Katie Couric, was an assistant producer at CNN, and a fellow at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy.
At CBS, he won a DuPont award for the team’s coverage of the 2008 presidential campaign and was nominated for an Emmy.
