Hélène Landemore is a professor of political science at Yale University, where she teaches political theory. She writes about democratic theory, political epistemology, and constitutional theory. Landemore is the author of Hume, Democratic Reason, and Open Democracy, as well as numerous volumes and articles. A policy advisor to the French government on citizen participation, her research has been featured in The New Yorker, Financial Times, Boston Review, and Slate, among others. Landemore has been featured on “The Ezra Klein Show” podcast and is a member of the executive editorial committee of Political Theory, the editorial board of Democratic Theory, and the Democratizing Work movement.
