Jervon Hicks is a life coach with Youth Peace Center of Roseland, IL. A former gang member who was arrested ten times and spent 15 years in and out of prison, he works with men ages 18-24 with similar backgrounds through Chicago Create Real Economic Destiny (CRED). Previously, after deciding to change his life in 2015, Hicks worked as a violence interrupter with the CeaseFire violence reduction program. Prior to this, he worked with Cure Violence Chicago.
