Pam Traxel

Pam Traxel is senior vice president for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, or ACS CAN. She is responsible for helping develop relationships with companies and individuals to further the fight against cancer through dynamic partnerships, events, and forums and has been integrally involved in helping establish ACS CAN as a nationwide advocacy organization that influences and shapes public policy at all levels of government. Before coming to ACS CAN in 2007, Traxel worked for political organizations. She was chief financial officer of the Democratic Governors Association, deputy finance director of America Coming Together, and finance chief of staff for the Democratic National Committee, among other positions.
