Margaret Collins is managing editor of the US economy team at Bloomberg News, since 2019. She previously oversaw the investing team for Bloomberg News in the United States, expanding its scope to include coverage of private equity, endowments, and pensions, in addition to asset managers and hedge funds. Prior to that, she was a reporter covering topics such as retirement savings, tax policy, wealth management, and family offices. Before joining Bloomberg in 2009, Collins was a multimedia editor for MSN’s money channel, where her team won a Loeb Award, and a reporter for the Bergen Record newspaper in New Jersey.
