Tim Shriver

Timothy Shriver is the chairman of Special Olympics International, since 1996. He is also co-founder of Unite, an initiative promoting solidarity across differences, co-creator of the Dignity Index tool to ease divisions, and co-founder and chairman of the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning school reform organization. An educator for 15 years, Shriver has produced four films, is the author of “Fully Alive: Discovering What Matters Most” and is co-editor of “The Call to Unite: Voices of Hope and Awakening.” Shriver is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, co-chair of the National Commission on Social and Emotional Learning, president of the Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Foundation and a board member of the WPP Group.
