Waidehi Gokhale is CEO of Soliya, a not-for-profit that provides technology-enabled global exchange and education programming in partnership with institutions of higher education. In this role, she oversees the strategic direction, global fundraising, and operational and financial well-being of the organization. With 20 years of experience in the fields of psychology, peacebuilding, and education, Gokhale entered the virtual-exchange field over a decade ago and is a leading advocate for its potential. Having seen firsthand the transformative power of meaningful cross-cultural exchange and education for young people, she has spoken at US Department of Education EdTalks, the United States Institute for Peace, and the Association of International Education annual conference. Gokhale is participating in the Aspen Ideas Festival as a 2019 Scholar.
