Author Luis Alberto Urrea's latest novel, "The House of Broken Angels," is inspired by his own Mexican-American family. Set in a San Diego neighborhood, the book's characters celebrate a final birthday for a beloved brother dying of cancer, and a funeral for his elderly mother. Aspen Words is the literary program of the Aspen Institute.
